We provide a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatment in hospitals.
Our Mission
Mommy, I Have Cancer provides services to children with cancer as well as their families, specializing in counseling, student tutoring, helping to prepare the patients, and the family on how life will be different now that my child has cancer.
Mommy, I Have Cancer will help each child and the family adjust to the illness, talk about diagnosis, cope with treatment and its side effects, manage mood changes and behavioral challenges, learn to ease stress and anxiety, address school concerns, and support siblings.
Financial Assistance:
We provide rent, utilities, housing assistance, supplement co-payments for medication, co-payments for medical doctor visits, scholarships for cancer patients attending college, tutoring for a child with cancer and their siblings, children wigs, food and transportation. We also buy equipment for children.
